Intro and FIRST POST !!!

Hello ! If you are reading this blog, thank-you for your support.

I am a 24 year old house-wife, a title I am happy with, and getting prouder of every day. My fiance and I, our life has changed a lot since we began it in togetherness. I have spent time taking his bachelor pad, and turning it into something that resembles a "home", we got a 2nd puppy, Eric had Baxter when we first started dating (he was just a pup, he is 2 now, and he is our big sucky British golden lab). Our second puppy, whom I affectionately call our "love pup" is Charlie, a 1 year old Froston who we got when he was 9 weeks old.

Our life is greatly changing yet again this year, we are expecting our first child, whom the ultra-sound tech says is a girl, in the middle of July.

There she is, showing off how smart she is by grabbing her toes! A talent that her Oma is very proud of her for.

This blog is basically where I am going to talk about my life as a house-wife. I am very much into DIY, and I will be posting and talking about the wonderful things that I do by myself, as well as giving some awesome craft ideas.

I have also decided to Home school my children, I was home schooled from grades K-12, and I couldn't think of anything I would like to have more than to make sure my kids know what they need to know, are getting the educational attention that they need, and to have a blast of fun while were at it. Don't ask me why, at 5 months pregnant with my first, I am already doing research, lets just say that I want to be prepared.

20 years ago, when my Darling Mother started homeschooling me, there was very little resources and sources available for home schooled parents. The movement grew quickly here in Calgary, and groups etc started popping up, but with the advance of social media, the act of home educating your children has become more interesting and awesome.

So, more about us, we live in Calgary, which is a city in Canada for those of you who don't know... (and there are a lot who are like... what? you live where? is that in California?) Don't ask... I used to play WOW and I would ask people just for shits and giggles if they knew where Calgary was... the only people who did were either western Canadian or lived here too, and they all think they are so smart just because they are nerds... Well, if you don't get off of the online worlds, and live a little, there will be things you will NEVER know...

So, what are you going to find on this blog? Along with random ramblings from me... if I offend anyone with ANYTHING.... well, be offended and move on to another blog, because I don't want to hear it. Not everyone will agree with me, my methods, my opinions, but I don't go blowing my head off on your blog so don't do it on mine.

You will find A LOT of craft ideas, I am in love with bath bombs/bubble bath bars etc... however I do have an objection with spending tons of my rainbow money (or should I say my fiances rainbow money) on my love of a bath tub full of bubbles. I have been finding recipes etc of how to make them myself, when I get all the stuff together, I will share it, as well as what it costs per bath etc...

I don't like spending money, I really don't, comes from never having a lot of it I guess, however my mother instilled in me a desire to figure out how to do things myself. For instance, I don't buy cards (Christmas, valentines etc)... I prefer to make my own. Oh, and I love garage sales... they are awesome, as well as some awesome furniture you can find beside garbage collection bins... sounds nasty i know, but I found this awesome art deco vanity that we are going to fix up !

That is all for now, I have a lot of things that I want to blog about, so I may as well start organizing my brain and start blogging !!!
